Okay, so it doesn't have the same ring as a midnight train to Georgia, but I'll take what I can get, really.
I think it's the welded rail train, which ought to be interesting, seeing as how it's my first time on it. Great hoghead, so I'm actually looking forward to the trip. I also have brownies with cappucino icing, so I really am happy.
...Incidentally, I really want to write siblingverse Hanafic. Any prompts/ideas,
fangses? Granted, I won't see them till I get back, but hey.

Date: 2010-08-31 02:13 am (UTC)On the other hand, I've got a work train for four days, eee! Friday I'm booking rest, and I'll probably use EDOs for Saturday and Sunday. This has the potential to be a very good week.

Date: 2010-08-31 05:36 am (UTC)From what I'm gathering, it's a four day job, making about 225 miles per day. All we did today was pick up the old rail beside the main line. You know, the stuff they've got laying on the ground that was switched out for new rail a few years back?
There's talk that we might range as far afield as Canmore, but who knows. It's a good gig so far, as long as the hoghead and I bring enough food.
