cocoa does NOT equal hot chocolate powder

So I learned something new today. When baking a cake, instant hot chocolate powder is *not* an acceptable substitute for cocoa. Yeah, okay, I had enough cocoa left for the actual cake, but I ran out just when I needed it for the sauce.

Cake tasted fine, the sauce was kind of funky. So yeah, won't be doing *that* again.

In other news, I really really don't want to cut my hair, but I think it might be necessary kind of soon. It's over two feet long and thicker than my wrist, and it's getting so damn *heavy*... Bleah. Won't be cutting it anytime soon, but I'm starting to entertain the possibility...

pffft. Try mixing kool-aid packets. Actually, if done properly, they can taste pretty good. Why, this be one of my mixtures:

about 1 3/4 cups of sugar

That blue kool-aid powder. The word 'tropical' is in the title. YOu know. Like the diseases.

Grape kool-aid.

Orange mix, if you have it.

Instructions:

Combine all powdered substances in the jug. Add a few heaping spoonfuls of dumb-fuck luck and stir generously (with water). And, if you add enough luck, you'll get something drinkable in short bursts. Maybe.

That would be tricky, seeing as how I haven't had kool-aid for, oh, roughly ten years or so, and I *certainly* have no intentions of trying your recipe. 'Cause, you know, the way it's written does not exactly inspire faith and trust here.

I do it all the time and I haven't died yet. Yet, being the key word

Point.
