Getting called as a conductor? Sure, fine, whatever. Getting called as the conductor for the 5 switcher? That was a little odd.

Twelve hours, not much got done, which, with me as foreman, really didn't come as much of a surprise.

However!

I got to drive the switcher truck. It was awesome. And I want one.

Is that red flag not mentioned in the DOB down at Keith? Seems like a good thing to be mentioned in a DOB but apparently the powers that be do not share that opinion.

I'd wager it usually gets more done than we did. Uh, guy named Rob Ryan, something like that. He's a transfer, but junior to me.
