Yeah, it was a long night last night. And oogh, I haven't had to work thirteen hours in the yard yet. ...Though honestly, I'm not sure they can work you thirteen hours. At least, not in a single shift.
Yeah, sleep is definitely becoming my top priority. 'S funny, though, I find I'm not as hungry now that I'm sleeping such weird hours. That's not a good thing, though.
Aagh, I know. I keep trying apply the tropes to RL, and it really doesn't work. Plus people look at you funny.
Ack, I think I made a mistake in the post. Technically I am qualified as a foreman, but as such a new employee, I really don't have the experience to be an efficient foreman. And it's not so much they think I know what I'm doing, as they don't have enough people to fill the jobs. The only way I'd get called as a helper is if one of the guys on the job booked off/couldn't make it, and the other guy was more senior to me. These last few jobs, however, both guys were off the job for the night, so it was me and a classmate on the job. And since I was the senior one, I was the foreman. Sometimes the seniority is good, sometimes...it's not.
