tehluggageThere's a video clip of Stuart McLean on YouTube, which makes me exceedingly happy for a variety of reasons. Mostly, because he's an amazing radio host, and seeing him live is even better. And the way he uses his words is just amazing...
In other news, it snowed about half a foot last night and most of this morning, which is awesome. Although, the cat didn't think so. I was calling him when I got home, and he finally showed up from behind one of the sheds and trotted down to the garage. Except the snow was up to his chin, so every step he took, he was chin-deep in snow and dragging his belly. Not that there's much to drag, he's a skinny little bugger... But he looked extremely disgruntled, and the fact that his face was covered with snow probably didn't help much either. So that was highly amusing.
Oh yes, at hockey Sunday night, I just about knocked myself and another girl out cold. I was skating in her general direction, and she went left, I went in the same direction, and we crashed. Now, I'm not entirely certain, but I seem to remember throwing up my arm just in time to smash her in the helmet, and, well, I was once again grateful that I'm so solid on my skates. Yes, I was knocked on my back, but she bounced off of me. When the other players gathered round, they seemed to be torn between concern, laughter, and comments of "Where do you think you are, the NHL?" Which I did not appreciate, but really, I was too dazed to care.
